I was really looking for a Gigantic Whole in the Head but couldn’t find one (I love the name of this brewery). They have to make a funky messed up sour beer and call it Gigantic Problem, love it. This 22oz IPA bomber pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports an inch tall head of light colored foam. The aroma offers up malt sweetened grapefruit and mango fruity hops that round their way toward a touch of crystal malts to biscuit malts. The taste starts similar with smooth rich yet also soft grapefruit and tropical mango like hoppiness sweetened some with malts. To midway a pleasing citrus to resiny pine hoppiness takes over the flavor. It ends with a nice even mix of hop flavor and resiny hop bitterness along with a tasty supporting note of malts. The more I drink the more I like this.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle- Orange foggy on the pour, with a decent light yellow head. Notes of grapefruit and caramel. Bitter on the tongue as an IPA should be, bit finishes quick as to not be tooo bitter. Bitter after-taste lingers long enough to beg for another sip. Overall a great IPA and a new favorite beer for me.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - pours hazy pale orange, fluffy off white head that persists. Nose is fruity, resinous hops, grapefruit and mango, sweet caramel malts notes. Fairly heavy bodied for a straight IPA but lots of fruity west coast hop notes and long bitter finish that rounds out the malt sweetness. Nice west coast ipa

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Mostly clear golden orange, lasting creamy white foam head. Fresh fruity citrus hop aroma. Sappy fruity citrus hop taste, floral and spicy, some pine, not too sweet mild malts behind. Average carbonation, medium bodied, moderately hopped. Nice and solid. FL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased from Bring on the Beer.
It pours a slightly hazy gold, forms a nice 1 finger head of foam, and leaves some lovely lacing.
Man, there’s a lot of lemon citrus in the nose with some hints of some malt...bread or biscuit. I like taking whiffs cuz I like that lemony aroma.
The smell was a bit deceiving vs the taste. I don’t get a whole lot of lemon citrus here..it’s mostly biggish piney notes with a solid biscuit malt flavour that really balances the hops and malts. Even swishing the beer in my mouth doesn’t bring out much of that lemony goodness. As the beer warms, I do get some citrus, mild as it is but it helps.
Well, this is an interesting brew that improves as it warms but still doesn’t hit my comfort zone, which is VERY wide for the style. Just an above average IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a bomber into a tulip after a soccer game with Fernando ($7.99 from Perry’s Liquors). Amber color with a light head. Smells like a typical West Coast IPA - pine, orange, and peaches. Taste is bitter pine, citrus peel, tropical fruit and honey, but has a little bit of malt in the background on the finish. Medium body with a thinner texture than many of the West Coast IPA/DIPAs. Very very good (light, clean, fresh) and goes down easy at 7.3% but nothing out of the ordinary about this one.

Poured one finger on a medium straw colored body.
The aroma is bright mandarin and orange.
The taste is a solid big lemon bitterness with some honey sweetness in the background.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A wonderful drink.

1/2 pint on tap. Clear golden beer, bubbly medium-large head, nice piney aroma, fresh. Medium-bodied beer, light aftertaste, palate is fleshed out. Nicely done beer, without identifying specific tastes, it’s definitely closer to the citrus-sour end of IPAs, not a bad thing. Good.
