Bottle at home, from my Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours clear orange, thick white head, really nice lacing. Nose is big mango, grapefruit, passionfruit, light caramel. Flavours of spice, tropical fruit, mango, a bit sweet. Overall a nice IPA.

Impressive looking pour. Cloudy orange hued straw body with a tall, frothy white head. Medium sweet body with caramel notes. Strong grapefruit and some pine character and a resinous touch. A bit soapy and oily with some cooked vegetable notes.

Bomber. Pours a light gold and orange color with substantial foamy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus rind and floral hops with a bit of pine resin. The flavor begins with a strong resiny hops and grapefruit citrus presence with notes of lemon, orange and pine. Also a subtle toasted caramel and malt character but for the most part the hops rule. The body is slightly creamy with moderate carbonation and a final dose of citrusy hops bitterness in the finish. Another quality addition to the PDX IPA scene.

Pint on tap at the Portland Craft on Main Street in Vancouver during VCBW 2012. Pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head with some decent lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pale malts. Taste is dominated by grapefruit bitterness with enough of a malty sweet backbone to carry this one off nicely.Generously carbonated with a medium body. A really nicely done brew for the style and very bold.

Bottle:   Amber in color, slight haze, large frothy off-white head, light carbonation, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet citrus and hopped up nose.   Smooth on the tongue, sweet pithy notes, hoppy but not biting.   Could use a little more zing.   However, its very clean and it doesn’t seem like 7.3% ABV at all.   Very smooth on the tongue.   Finishes a bit oily, but not too bitter.   Reminds somewhat sweet, with a citrus background.   This is just too easy to drink.   Well done!   Picks up a bit of tropical fruit as it warms even further.

Pours a hazy gold with a foamy white head and lacing. It has a aroma of citrus and some resin. The flavor is grapefruit and other citrus up front, with a maltier middle that leads to a balanced hoppy aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy golden color; creamy head. The aroma is hoppy, very fresh, with notes of toffee. The mouthfeel is very smooth, semi-dry; good malt and toffee flavor, with a very fresh and refreshing hopping. Long final, balanced.
Excellent.

2012-08-08, bottle from Central City Liquor Store, Surrey, 8-4-7-5-15=39
Hazy light amber color; medium sized head. Expressive aroma, harmonious citrus fruits mix. Very good toffee flavor, lean body, smooth mouthfeel; fresh hopping, with loads of soft resins and nice fruity touch; long final; overall, powerful but balance and well drinkable.
Excellent.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours orange amber with a creamy/bubbly white head. For me the aroma is both citrus and resin. Med + body. Frothy carb. Flavor is resin, floral and citrus. It’s lush. So good it could be bottle conditioned. Every quaff is a dream. Finish is bitter, but not humongously so. Excellent ale.

pours an amber-orange with a medium white head and good lacing. smell is of hops, some pine, citrus, and a tad bit of caramel. taste is refreshing yet creamy, caramel, bitter, and some citrus, smells better than it tastes but still a descent brew. ends with a growing bitterness.
