UXO (534) - CANADA - JUN 29, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy light amber with a foamy white head, good retention, and moderate lacing. Nose is light pine and citrus hints balanced with light cereal malt. Taste leads out with sweet caramel and biscuit, becoming moderately bitter with pine and citrus notes. Medium body, slightly sticky and astringent, with a slightly tart, mildly warming finish. A little maltier than I prefer my IPAs, but still nicely balanced and quite drinkable. Relatively light in both aroma and flavour, with no west coast funk.

maxwelldeux (3959) - Everett, Washington, USA - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose is grassy and grainy, with just a bit of floral elements to it. Taste is actually a little bit sweet up front, with only a slight bitterness on the back end. Tastes a bit weird, to be honest.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium thick tiny bubbled, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a tiny particle laden amber (SRM 10) body......nose is light pine, resin, citrus hints, light cereal, balanced,.....taste is lightly sweet, with toffee/caramel tones, light cereal, becoming moderately bitter with pine, citrus notes, nicely balanced......mouth feel medium body, slightly sticky, minimal alcohol, slight astringency, moderate acid finish. This is a nicely balanced thoroughly drinkable beer. It is light to the style in both aroma and flavors with the hops being used with a gentle hand making it more of an east coast style. A redo of the hop backbone, with more aroma and flavor variation would create a better beer. Given the particle laden aspect, perhaps it was mis-handeled. BJCP 7/2/13/4/6

Boutip (4964) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 18, 2014
Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with light piney notes is pretty refreshing. Taste is also a mix between some citrusy hops with nice floral undertones, some light piney notes and some light caramel malt notes with a dry finish and light bitter notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Good Northern West Coast IPA.
