Pouring hazy with a rocky head, the aroma is light floral & citrus, not as intense as expected however. The initial taste has a medium body with a light sweetness, kiwi and pineapple fruits dominate, but the malt backbone shows well enough. The taste then draws down into a pleasant, deeper, danker, catty aftertaste. Not quite as bitter as I may expected given the the branding, but this is a fine beer, and coming in a 660ml bottle is always a plus! There is no born on or expiration date on this bottle, so it may be tasting better in Portland, but its drinking just fine here in Leeds.

Nice amber with white head and a rich malty nose with hints of hops. Malty taste , sweet and delicious and some bitterness. Palate is long and rich with citric notes and a mouthful.

Bomber @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, April 16, courtesy of Paolo. Pours hazy amber, white head. Aroma is bright and hoppy. Taste is stone fruit, grapefruit, pithy lemon, pine. Not a massive amount going on but nice enough.

Kita (1748) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 24, 2016
Bottle 0.65l, shared with friends. Pours cloudy amber orange color with medium creamy tan-like head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel and biscuit malt, citrus, resin and herbs. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel, following is mild fruity and resinous, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Much more malty than hoppy as it’s more than 1 year old...

Gylden brun klar med to fingre høyt offwhite skum. Lukter eple, sitrus og noe korn. Bittersøt smak. Søtlig fruktig, sydhavsfrukt og noe honning i starten.

Riktig trevlig.

Bomber between 5 at the April 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange meeting. Hop centric but not overly bitter. Slight haze to the amber coloured body: thin white head. Fruity nature with a piney feel too. Liked it: cheers Paulo for bringing it.

Riktig trevlig.

Idiosynkrasie (5852) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 8, 2016
650ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Nuttily, pale malty aroma with piney hoppy overtones, minimally sweaty, resinous notes, surpressed citrusy notes of lemon and grapefruit. Taste is pale malty with hints of almond and nuts, piney hoppy overtones with a papery touch, citrusy hints of lemon and grapefruit, sugary interludes. Sadly not the freshest example, nevertheless somehow or other with DIPA punch and characteristics, very robust malty backbone, intense and concentrated hop flavours. Massive if not "Gigantic".
