Saved this for #IPADay 2012. Pours an orange color. Medium hop bite. The cheeks do warm up after sipping this. A little piney with some light citrus notes.

(22oz bomber) cloudy bright gold-orange, soapy lasting white bubbled head. Nose of caramel, light funk, biscuit malt, bit sweaty, brown sugar. Taste of light citrus, caramel, zest, medium to thin body.

Bottle. Colour...cloudy golden amber. Nose...crushed hop cones, tropical fruit and quince. Palate... Wonderfully frothy with a massive burst of piney hop character, but not so piney as to overwhelm the palate. The malt makes an impressive balance so that the whole experience is very enjoyable! This is one helluva nice, solid IPA!

Draft. Amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Hop-forward aroma of citrus, resin, pine, orange, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Hops dominate the flavor with tastes of orange, citrus. Lingering resin. The flavors are washed over by the bitterness which lingers long into the finish. Nice.

A very nice one. It is medium bitter, nice and grapefruity, quintessential PNW IPA.

Great hazy golden coloured body with some bronzish highlights and a thick, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright hops, pineapple, passionfruit, pine, resin and a good malt backbone with some alcohol noticeable. Medium-bodied; Strong resinous and nutty flavour at first with a great floral and fruity finish of hops hitting hard at the end. Aftertaste has a hint of alcohol, some fruit flavours and a good balance of hops and malt with the hops obviously coming out on top. Overall, a very strong IPA, but still not in the range of AleSmith, sadly. Still, great to try and one that anyone who enjoys the style should search out for! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 10-February-2013 for US$5.49 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 19-April-2013 a few days before returning to Portland.

22oz bottle from Belmont Station. Pours a clear, dark amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, tropical fruit, pineapple, mango. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, some pine hops, with a light bitter finish. A very nice IPA.

On tap at Hops in New Westminster. A beautiful orange color with a bit of off white head. Bittersweet on the nose. A very appealing balance of hops and malts, with a lingering, bitter finish. Very nice!
