UPDATED: FEB 3, 2013 On tap at Darby’s. slightly hazy light copper body, airy but sticky cap. Taste is sugar and grapefruit. Aroma of caramel, lemon, grapefruit. I’m certain when I had a bottle of this, it tasted better. I might have to revisit this review. Well. Revisited on tap. Still the same. More malt forward than hop forward. And actually a clear light copper appearance.

Bottle. Golden, small white head. Nice aroma of fruity hops. Taste bitter and fruity, with notes of citrus and passionfruit. Body is somewhat thin, but thick enough for this beer. Tasty stuff.

This is a good looking beer, a slightly hazed orange/amber body with a pillowy off-white head. The aro9ma is seriously citrusy with very ripe tangerines, oranges, pink grapefruit, and a pinch of zest. The malt comes through in the flavor as bread with a drizzling of runny caramel. The hop tastes, reflective of the aroma, continue on, but there is only a mild bitterness. This increases in the finish, just too little too late. Still, a fairly decent brew.

Bottle: Served in a shaker: Medium sized creamy sticky head. Almost clear orange colored body. Aroma of hops, fruits, hop fruits, light flower tint, floral, hint of malts, some citrus and citric hop tones. Nice! Flavour is hoppy, floral, bitters, some malts, (yellow/orange) fruit, light citrus, peach, grapefruit, apricot, light herbs. Aftertaste is bitter, hoppy, herbal and some fruits. Low carbo, between watery and creamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a light dry bitter light creamy texture. Nice!

Bottle shared with Ansjelaah @ home. Very clear ber colour with a small to medium sized off-white head that doesn’t last very long. Smells hops, fruity, fresh, slightly malty, nice. Tastes hops, bitter, malts, fresh, fruity - but quite shallow. Taste doesn’t last very long and it feels a bit watery. Still a nice beer though. Thin to medium body, nice crisp carbo.

Beautiful pour with a super hazy orange body and a thick, densely packed yellowish head. The nose is well hopped with light resin and tons of fruity notes. A mild caramel malt in the middle with grapefruit, peach and pineapple flavours. The finish is astringent and bitter throughout with a solidly bitter aftertaste.

Clear golden colour. Nicely hoppy aroma dominated by quite resinous, piney tones. Fairly light texture with low to medium carbonation. Feels smooth. Full flavoured. Moderated bitterness. A nice drink.

Bottle from ABC beers. Lots of pacific hops (Cascade, Simcoe) which give a great piney flavor. Nice malt backbone. Lovely mouth feel. I honestly cannot fault this one! Great brew!

(Gigantic IPA) Bottle 650 ml at home, served into a tulip. ABV 7.3% Clear body, deep and bright orange in colour, with a good sized off-white head on top. Good retention, medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has hops, citrus, orange peel, light tangerine, light cookie dough. Taste follows, notes of orange peel/zest, citrus, biscuit, caramel malts, bitterness that builds up. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Good dryness on the palate. Nice IPA. Very drinkable.

Bomber. It’s solid. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a nice white head. West coast IPA nose / taste but a bit subdued. Not overly resiny or sticky. Fairly strong caramel presence. Light to medium body for the ABV.
