OldMrCrow (1767) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle from Whole Foods.

Nose of caramelized bananas, citrus. Tripel-like flavors, full esters that seem a bit overwhelming in the first few sips but mellow as the palate acclimates. Spicy peppery close. Pretty good tripel-like beer at only 6.3%.

22. Pours a murky medium amber with a loose white head that goes away. Big spicy nose, great combination of esters and hop oils. Piney, grapefruit, clove, cardamom. Creamy medum body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, oranges, pine, and estery spices on the mid palate. Long tangy finish. Nice beer.
