On draught at Roscoe’s. Light refreshing plum taste on top of an almost pale profile. Really tasty fruit beer.

Bomber poured a hazy gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, plum, yeast and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, plum, yeast and light pepper with a smooth lingering peppery plum finish.

651 ml. bottle. 7.5% ABV per the label. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, with continued tiny bubble formation, over a cloudy, particle laden, light amber, (SRM 9) effervescent body......nose is light plum, mild malts, minimal herbal hops.......taste is mild plum, light base malts, very mild sweet, with a sense of dry throughout, mild herbal hop notes with mild bitterness......mouth feel, light of medium body, light alcohol warmth, high carbonation with moderate acid. The recipe is obviously different from the original with the 50% increase in the ABV. This is a light refreshing beer. The malts and hops were gently used, with the plum and clean rice notes slightly dominating. Overall it is not particularly interesting with its clean simplicity. BJCP 7/2/12/4/6

Pine Box Rock Shop, Brooklyn tap: pours cloudy orange with a small head. Aroma is a bit of plum and some strange malts, which I suppose is due to the rice. Taste is sweet and not as plummy or plummiah as one would imagine. Easy drinking.

On tap. Pours a very cloudy/muddy tawny color with moderate head. Aromas of wet malts and rice. Flavors of bread crusts, more wet malts and muddled fruit. Plums? Not much of a fan. Seems a bit amateur for these guys.

Draft - Weird grains and a touch of plum. Dirty gold. Light sweet and tart notes, plum and a bit of grape. Squeaky.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out notes of vegetal and herbal notes, with grass and corn. Flavour brings a lot of the grassy and corn notes from the pilsner malt. I don’t get anything from the plums or rice. Not sure they were going for, but it’s pretty clean and tasty.

650ml bottle pours a slightly hazy straw color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is plums with some rice grains and yeast. Taste is a light fruity plum and malty sweetness with a light hop bitterness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a decent brew for the style and very refreshing to drink. A nice brew to have if you are craving something a little on the sweet side.

22. Pours a hazy, nearly cloudy rubied medium amber with a scant fizzy off-white head that fades. Aromatics come on with a fairly clear plum note, showing a nice fruit quality with minimal acidity or tartness. Not much depth, though. Smells like real fruit for sure, but isn’t showcased very lavishly. Flabby medium body with soft carb. Mild and subdued fruit notes on the mid palate. Just kinda sits there and doesn’t do much.
