Bottle. Hazy pale golden, frothy head. Lightly spiced malt nose. Lightly hopped flavours, hints of hay. Quite boring, if you ask me.

Draught in Cologne, April, 2013. A good looking kolsch. Dark gold color and a good sized, lacing head. Malt aroma and flavor, but it is light and effervescent, and I would say slightly floral in character. Sweet grain finish.

An average kolsch at the brew pub in koln. Very sweet but not with fruit you would want to enjoy. Tart sour at end not bad but def not best in the city. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery after a Doemens tour. Poured in a .2L glass over and over and over again. Crystal clear, pale golden colored body with an inch thick, creamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is clean and very lightly sweetened with some soft fruit notes and touches of grass. Flavor is similar. Clean, lightly fruity and grassy with a soft pils malt backing. Finishes crisp and somewhat dry with a very light, clean bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body with a pleasant mouthfeel and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, an excellent, very fresh Kölsch. Clean, lightly bitter, and well balanced with a nice malt feel. This is a great example of the style.

Bottle @ Köln 30.8.2012. Golden beer with medium white head. Aroma has malts and grassy hops. Dry taste has decent bitterness, also malty and grassy hoppy. Pretty basic kölsch.
