0.5 can. Friend got me this one from Koln. It’s golden colored with light white head and mild carbonation. It’s bitter hoppy and fairly grassy. Very drinkable beer.

Cask @ Gilden im Zims. Clear yellow/golden with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet with herbal notes and lemony notes. Taste is mild with light sweetness, herbal notes and light lemony presence. Very light body. Medium carbonation. Light "fluffyness" in the mouthfeel. Way better than the ratings suggests. Probably the lightest Kölsch I have tried in Cologne. Easily drinkable.

500 ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma is strong on lemon with some mild grainy notes. Flavour of grassy hops, some lemon, mild bready notes and a touch of graininess. Light bodied and lively carbonation. Sharp, bitter, lemon finish. Refreshing and mild. I like the lemon notes here.

At Gilden’s. Pale yellow with foamy thick head. Aroma is cereal and lemon. Taste is cereal and slight lemon tartness. A little too much carbonation. Highly quaffable. Above average.

Bought a bottle from shop near Köln. Another typical beer from Köln. Clear golden colour, medium body, grainy, floral. Enjoyed it very much.

Cerveja muito leve, sem amargor, lembra as cervejas brasileiras só com mais sabor. Boa pedida para se resfrescar no verăo.

Well-known representative of its style, clear golden colour with orange hue, subtle aroma of sweet malts and faint, pear-like fruity esters. Neutral onset, light maltiness, subdued fruitiness, minerals, brief and only lightly hopped finish. Actually a bit bland compared to its congeners.

From tap at Gilden im Zims in Cologne. Light, Pilsener like beer. Malty aromas and a faint hop taste in the finish. Decent beer to drink with your mates.

TAP in Cologne at a restaurant. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable white head. NOSE: more pilsener like, fresh, little fruity. TASTE: fresh, little fruity, decent actually.

Gravity pour at Gilden Im Zims. Very pale yellow pour, crystal clear, very dense white foam. Aroma is lemony, nice cereal, light citrus, grassy. Taste is grainy, very light, a bit watery, nice refreshing lemon zest. Palate is light, surprisingly carbed compared to the others. One of the better ones.

Bottle 500 ml at home, poured into a kolsch glass. ABV 4.8% Golden yellow colour on the body, with a good sized (for a kolsch) white head sitting on top, with average retentiion, leaving light lacing behind. Nit much on the aroma, bready as exoected, malts, after a carefull swirl some light grass aroma is surfacing. Sweet taste, not bad, some malts and hay, but also fresh cut grass and a touch of lemon to break down the sweetness. There is even a mild bitterness on the aftertaste. Thin body, average carbonation. Overall okay beer, but nothing really memorable.
