Draft served in a pilsner glass at Venti’s Taphouse, S.Salem. Appearance? Golden yellow with a nice sized pure white head. Nice lager aromas..bready, nutty. Good fresh taste..grassy, cereal, small hopping and some nuttiness that finishes off the mouthfeel well Good and smooth on the palate..no problem at all drinking this. Good stuff

Clear gold with a pretty platinum head that lasts. I could tell that I needed to let this one warm up because it came almost overly cold from the tap. Nose is crisp crackery malt, autumn leaves, light herbal hops, with a slightly sweet nutty chord running through it all. Taste is very true to the nose, with the nutty and herbal nuances filling in all the right places. Body is medium light, and the carb is active but not aggressive. While the bitterness is relatively low, the finish shines with herbal hops and rounded nuttiness. Fun beer, and another winner for Gilgamesh.

Draft. Light golden color with a thin white head, no lacing. Smells like a pilsner - grassy, cereal grains, with an added hint of nuttiness. Light bodied, good carbonation. Well-balance pilsner taste - barley and slightly spice hops, with a sweet, nutty twist from the filberts (hazelnuts).

draft. clean, firm malt throughout, a hallmark of these brewers. very light filbert nuttiness in the nose allows the subtle noble-like hops (dried leaves) to present themselves. clean, snappy, fresh, lightly nutty with firm malt structure and frothy carbonation. well-made as always with gilgamesh.

Tried this on a lark. Tasted really good. Light and crisp but with that added heaviness from the nuts that were added.

Tap at 16 Tons. Hazy yellow, milky looking beer thst is one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen. Hazelnuts very apparent in both nose and mouth, with a little biscuit thrown in. This is no Rogue Hazelnut Brown, that’s for sure.

Draught. Poured pale yellow with thin fast dissipating head. Aroma is hay and filberts, lots of filberts. Pilsnerish taste, with a lot of nuttiness. Pleasant, but mouthfeel is marred by greasiness. Barman told me that is likely from the nuts. Balance finish, but again with the greasiness.
