3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at 16 Tons. Dark brown pour with light tan head and solid lacing. Aroma and taste of citrus fruits like tangerines and oranges, with black tea and a lighter alcohol feel than you’d expect from such a high abv beer. Overall, pretty enjoyable and unusual brew.

Growler from draft, served in a globe. Pours dark, hazy amber/copper, lightly carbonated with almost no head. The aroma is fruity, mango and pineapple, with tart undertones. Medium-full body, again lightly carbonated. The flavor is malty with strong tropical fruit flavors and a hint of citrus. There is no real bitterness, and at 11+% ABV, there is very little alcohol warmth. This is a delicious, but dangerous beer. I do think it could use a bit more carbonation to help balance the strong fruitiness.
