Bottle - pours a nice clear copper with thick head. Nose of hops, grass, and grain. Taste balance between hop and grass. Oily mouthfeel. Very dry finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Full golden color. Aroma is tart citrus, bread, and some lightly bitter grass notes. Taste is tart and sweet tropical fruit, sweet malt, and grapefruit. Prickly hop presence, but not bitter, nicely balanced. Citrus and tart hints in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours golden amber with a slight white head. Aroma might suggest Mosaic hops. Or not. Med body. Flavor is mildly roast malt supporting a decent amount of hop. Citrus yes. Mosaic? Probably not. Itís certainly bitter, and certainly fruity. Itís on the soft side of NW. But I donít think it fits East Coast. :) A good, bitter beer. So far itís underrated (whatís this balance sh**?) Iím really liking it. Striving to find passionfruit, but Iíll settle for citrus, hoppy and bitter. Settle? No. Enjoying!!!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Strong caramel and light hops. Solid bitterness throughout but it is not well balanced with the caramel. Lingering bitter finish that is also a bit off.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottle from "Roths Sunnyslope Market" in S.Salem.
Never seen a bottled Gilgamesh beer and had kinda lost track of this Salem brewery in the last year as more stuff got going in town.
Typical pale orange colour for an IPA, head is large and substantial (white).
Strange subdued aroma..resiny/powdery hop..some green onion, honestly not attractive.
Taste is better mainlly because it has a tremendous caramel malt backing..hops are still rather powdery, it works kinda but not a wonderful experience.
Mouth feel is fine for style.
Had my hopes up as i have had great stuff from Gilgamesh..but this is a let down.
