On draught at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 2 on 1 December 2010. Hazy yellow colour. Good solid stuff with plenty of fruit. Pleasant tannins providing a firm backbone. Dry, but bone dry. Very drinkable. A new producer to me and a promising first experience.

A Sim rate (bag in a box at Pig’s Ear - labelled as "Gillow Mr Boy’s Dry"): Sweet, green apple peel aroma with pear drops and sugar. Too, too sweet in the flavour but nicely green apple with some delicate cinnamon.

Cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Golden pour, no head. Light apple and vinegar nose. Good flavor, lightly spicy, with nice acidity, mild vinegar and background cider character. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very dry finish, with lingering acidity, mild funk and mild apples. Nice cider.
