From a plastic barrel at Battersea Beer Festival on 10 February 2011. 2009 vintage. Straw colour. Very dry and quite tannic. Apple skin prominent on the palate. Maybe a touch thin in the mouth but I like these dry, tannic, austere ciders so I’m happy to forgive it that.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 3. Pours clear yellow with a few bubbles. Good apple aroma. Sweet and musty flavor, quite tart, almost like vinegar (which I like in ciders, as opposed to cloying sweetness). Mild apple character. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, tart finish, some must and faintly sweet apples. Nice cider.
