3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Banana, Belgian yeast. Fairly clean, quite strong sharp carbonation, but this makes it more characterful than I feared. (33cl bottle from Delhaize Heverlee)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours hazy blonde. Smell is malty. Bit yeasty, some sweetness. Taste is rather bitter, on the full palat and somewhat in the back. Underneath a sweet , rather thin beer . overcarbonated. Ok , better than expected, but i had low expectations.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, brought back from Brussels by Lakshmi. Very pale yellow colour, ballooning white head. Quite soft, spicy, some fruity hop. Delicate rather than strong taste - I guess if one is used to a Duvel-style beer it does taste a bit thin, but then it is only 5%. Not bad flavour at that level, I’d personally prefer a touch more dryness and bitterness to make it moreish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Huge, very dense & fine just off-white head, fed by lively carbonated golden beer; shards of lace. Dry pale malts, dried garden herbs, ever so slightly dusty. Dry, pale malts but also some lightly coloured malts, touch of caramel, if not sweet. Finish is virtually neutral, but the aftertaste has some faint dry spicy bitterness. Warming up, slight acidity emerging. Very spritzy, feels rather overcarbonated. Light, light body. Dull - that’s it: dull.
