33cl, organic brew, from Geers Oostakker, not complex Belgian White, malty/spicy and slightly floral/bitter, yet balanced, cloudy, good head, simple brew

Huge, bit fluffy snowwhite head over originally quite carbonated, yellow-greenish muddy beer. Grainy nose, but preceded by a short, chemical-like whiff. Aberrant fruity (banana?) notes, but with a hint at rotting vegetable matter. Terrible vegetable, or rotting vegetable flavour, with some more notes of green bananapeel. And again, Ginette manages to give herself a chemical taint - low for a "natural blonde"... Finish shows clearly coriander. Warming up, a flavour as from cocos or copra creeps in. Light; light wheatslickness; beer falls flat soon. I’m already no fan of all the Hoegaarden copycats, and if they fail so miserably as this tart, one wonders if Pierre had it right after all...

Pretty cloudy murky beige beer, medium creamy white head, adhesive, little stable. Aroma: chemical, nasty, no really, nasty stuff, grains, weird spices, rotten banana. MF: bit too much carbon, light body. Taste: very sour start, grains, nasty bitterness, overripe banana and cabbages. Aftertaste: banana, chemical bitterness, spices. Yuk.

This organic Belgian beer pours almost clear with a huge fizzy head. It smells almost of chemicals and doesn’t taste much better. It has a bitter taste off the bat and lingers until it finally subsides.

Hazy yellow golden colour with small white head. Wheat, grain and caramel in aroma. Yeast, grain, wheat and once again yeast in flavour. Did I mentioned yeast? Well, it’s yeast dominating the flavour. Yeast.

bouteille 33cl, bb 06/2014. Dorée/paille, col blanc. Arôme de grains, fruité avec citron et cet aspect de grains/épeautre, le tout rappelant un peu trop un produit usine au citron. En bouche le tout est sec, grains concassés, qcq épices avec note de citronnelle et une léger malt pale. Peut-être le profile ’bio’, mais je n’ai pas pu accroché à cette bière.

(Bottled) Opaque orange with a small, firm and lacy head. Sourish-wheaty nose with some flowery and honey-malty notes. Flavor is lime-lemony, wheaty and slightly sour, flowery, with loads of vanilla. Almost medium body, quite refreshing, soft CO2. A pleasant witbier with a sourish-flowery vanilla twist. 5254

(33cl bottle best by Jun 2012 thanks to bu11zeye) clear blonde, lasting creamy white head. Nose of golden raisins, Belgian yeast, and vanilla. Taste of spicy Belgian yeast, white pepper and vanilla with more golden raisins coming out here. This is a really nice witbier.

Flöska. Hazy yellow. Medoium white head. Fruity wheat light banana like citrus aroma. Wheaty fruity flavour, some citrus, light spice and light bitterness.

Bottle. Cloudy gold. White head. Nose of coriander, orange peel, wheat and lemongrass. Taste is lacking. Mostly grassy lemons, water and a coriander finish.
