1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Oakes (10196) - Gibsons, - APR 1, 2005
Golden colour with low carbonation, lack of head. Light tasting with toasty notes. Maybe some Vienna malt. Low bitterness, slightly watery finish. Slightly spicy hop aroma is the only thing this beer has going for it...and it doesn’t go far.

on tap at the brewery in the middle of nowhere. referred to as both helles and lager but i’ll assume this is the appropriate listing. pale golden with a very light haze that seemed caused by how cold it was served rather than any sediment; the aroma was similar to that of the hefeweizen - yeasty and bready with a trace of vanilla; very simple flavours, a dry plain flour finish, quite lemonadey. not a helles at all and once the refreshment factor wore off it was an effort to get through
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 dornoy (694) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2006
I’m not sure this is the right beer. Mine is breaed in Germany. Anyway, it’s too light, probably rice brewed. Not very exciting altogether.

Thanks to IslandHaole for this. Pours canary with big, white head. Aroma of malt, hopcit, some honey. Tastes malty, with honey and hopcit at the finish. Smooth, with decent complexity.
2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dredd (591) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2005
this beer has a sweet aroma, mild bitterness and malt and good medium palate. The only downside is a slight metallic tase.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TimE (2068) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 11, 2004
I obviously had a good can compared to other here. Dark Golden color, thin head with a lightly lemon nose that oozes with clean maltiness. Full bodied and hoppy with just a touch of lemon dashing in and out of the tastebuds. Finishing dry and mildly bitter. I thought this was pretty good for the style.

Looks like any typical lager would. Clear and golden, small head, lively carbonation. As the others have mentioned, nothing noteworthy here. Too bad really, I'd expect a standout beer from this company.

Nothing to see hear really. Youve probably had about 100 beers that taste almost exactly the same. Its better than most macro lagers but nothing special.

Yes, a nice can but not a whole lot more. Something I could drink a lot of. Kind of like a Budweiser. Which isn’t necessarily a good thing.

An unremarkable, fizzy, yellow lager that comes in a damn nice golden can. Sort of a Sapporo clone.
