Fruity beer with rich taste made by packaging "Weizen", the traditional beer in the South Germany made of over 50 % of wheat malt, without filtering beer yeast.

300 ml. blue bottle US import version. Hazy pear colored with a thin disc of bubbles. Nose of banana, caramel, bread, clove, light lemon and resin. Flavors of banana bread, caramel apple, light lemon juice, dried grass and wheat. Light bodied with medium carbonation and leans sweet, but still has a pretty drinkable balance.

"Silver bottle" in Oviedo, Spain. Hazy amber color, with a medium white head, fading. Aroma of banana and spices. Taste is sweet but balanced, caramel, licorice, spicy on the tongue. Medium carbonation. A good beer, I liked it.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

35cl can from a beer shop in Kyoto. Pours hazy murky yellow with a white head. Fruity aroma with notable banana, some yeasty and wheaty notes and hints of spices. Moderate sweet with nice fruity flavours and a certain acidity. Tasty, balanced and refreshing!

From can it pours a hazy yellow-orange, with a decent foamy head that settles after a few minutes. Aroma of spice and banana esters, slight bubblegum and wheat. Nice mellow banana and wheat flavour, quite peppery throughout. Has a kind of aspirin fizz where a more creamy feel would’ve been nice, quite light and dry, lingering flavour and spice.
