37,5 cl bottle. Red/Amber body with off-white head. Flavour is sour, sweet, caramel and fruit.

Sampled at the Richmond Eleventh. THANK YOU DKACHUR!!!!!! A long sought after style is finally under my belt. Pours a hazy dark amber with good white head. Kinda mild funky nose with a hint of smokiness. The flavor is muted, like old dry lambic. Not very acidic. Not biting, Not offensive, but not all that great. Very glad to have finally tried this style, but not all that impressed.

(Sample Date: 4/17/2010 Source:Dkachur) Sweet caramelized sugars and moderate fruitiness in aroma. Mostly clear copper golden with hefty carbonation and little head. Sweet and sour with caramelized sugar and malts. Finish is medium sweet with a certain earthiness. Interesting.

Medium amber, courtesy of dkachur. Always special to be able to try a faro. Aroma is muted horeseblanket. Flavor matches - muted horseblanket, slight cheese, plenty of funk. Sweet and sour finish. Nice, although the sugar note is always a bit jarring in a faro. Almost like saccharin added.

Draught at Het Warm Water, Brussels. Dark brown with no head. Ripe dark fruit sweetness, caramel and very woody in aroma and taste. Sweet finish. Very drinkable but not sure if this would keep my interest for long.

Pours a amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet sour, fruity and light acid. The taste is very sweet, light sour fruity and acid.

Bottle. Thanks Boutip (phil)! Dark copper pour with thin white veil. Funky, barnyard aroma, some orange peel and cherries. Taste is very sweet, somewhat grassy with a lot of fruits too. Strange "heavy" lambic.

Tasting at DØE-meeting, Aarhus Syd, DK. Bottled, 170310. Amber with small head. Aroma of acid and fruit. Flavor is cane sugar with the sour backbone. Why artiifical additives?
