Golden, white lasting head. Quite weak sour flavor. Sweet, sour flavor, some yeast. Feels a little artificial...

Draught at Warm Water, Brussels. Brown, rather clear - flat with no head. Aroma is lambicy and sour. Flavour is nice and is typical based on my previous faro tastingsm sweet and slightly tart with a ltitle sourness. Well balanced compared to others, not oversweet and not unpleasently sickly like others.

Bag-in-a-box At Copenhagen Beermarathon 2004: Chestnut brown with no head at all. Aroma is mostly kandis and vinaigre, Taste is very well balanced between the sourness of the lambic, and the sweetness of the sugar. Without a doubt the best Faro i ever had

Oakes (10196) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2004
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2009 Amber-brown with a thick, bumpy head. Sugary nose has hints of toffee. Sweet and sour palate, the former being very caramel/toffee sweet and the latter being a clean lactic tartness. There’s a bit of lemonyness in there as well. The result is a fairly aggressive faro - probably the least faro-like faro I’ve had.

Nate (3093) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2004
Light sweet nose, herbal, grassy, saccharin. Cola brown clear with no head. Medium watery body with low carb. Starts sweet chalky, with light lactic notes. Very saccharin finish and after. For me, not enjoyable. Vinegar.

Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2004
Deep reddish brown coloured. Aroma of caraamel and acidic vinegar. Well balanced flavour with sugary sweetness and lambic sourness and tartness. This is very tasty. However, I still think that adding stuff to one of the most fantastic and complex brews of the world, Girardin Lambic, is a crime.

Sampled from a Jolly Cola bottle? Well, it is a nice Faro. I did’nt find it that sweet actually, but it was pretty sour and a bit apricot maybe. I liked it, a nice substitution to water.
