Thanks to Craig. Mostly clear reddish amber with a small off-white head leaving foam and bubbles. Aroma is funky with a sugary sweetness and something a bit unpleasant. Caramel malt base with mild tartness balanced by sweet sugar. Earthy and funky. Medium-light body with softer carbonation and good mild acidity. Decent stuff, not bad for the style.

Flaska på Basunen 2011: Trevlig, len ekdoft. Frisk, mycket sök - förfriskande och helt utan strevhet. Kanske en aning för söt, men det är ju en Faro

Bottle 375ml @ home
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma is sweet and sour at the same time. Taste is medium sour, and light sweet. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy

375ml corked and caged, thanks Tom! Clear bright light amber with tight white head. Sweet bright sugar, light musty wool, hints of lemon and old stale oak. Sweet candied sugar, dank and musty wet wool, lemon...pretty much like the nose. I am not Faro aficionado, but this is pretty good and has more of a lambic character than the others I have had in the style.

Clear reddish brown with a big beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and moderate sour - vinegar. Flavor is medium sweet and light sour. Light acidic and dry finish. A bit light bodied and somewhat watery. Too high carbonation. 250311
