Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brugge. Comes in a mini champagne like bottle. Pungent sour fruity yeasty aroma. Clear medium brown colour with a good head. Strange bitter fruity flavour with coffee caramel aftertaste. A bit like dry vimto. Not really my thing.

2/21/11. Bottle thanks to jtclockwork. Clear orange pour with a small white head. Funky aroma with a hint of smoke, burnt caramel, and sweet sugars. Sweet, slightly sour flavor with a touch of smoke, oak, and brown sugar/caramel.

head: thin, creamy , white
colour: caramel , orangy , amber
smell: apples, caramel, wineousy nose, some mild soury touch, overall sweet , but ver enjoyable !! , reminds me a bit of a barley wine
taste: start is cooked vegetables, skunky , salty malts in the start, a bit champagne like yeastnotes, end is more of a dry , nuty malty flavour , no real sourness in the beer ... kind of a dissapointment , but still a good beer i think ...

Pours orange with a small head that instantly disappears. Only faint signs of spontaneous fermentation in this one, with some slight tartness and a funky hint. Not much sweetness either, but a rather dry beer.

Bottle 375ml. Pours a clear, dark amber with lasting offwhite head. Aroma is basement, sugar, earth, autum leaves, Taste is light to medium sweet, later light to medium sour. Medium body, thin, average carbonation. Lasting sour, watery feel.

Bottle shared with drowland. Pours clear amber brown. Nose is strong. Lots of funk, brown sugar, candi sugar and peat. Taste is burnt wood, dry sherry and funk.

Clear brown colour with small off-white head.
Sour fruity aroma with some sweetness and hints of mint (?).
Flavour is mild sourness and some sugar sweetness. Slowly sourness is overruled by sugar. Short aftertaste.

Hazy light brown coloured. Average carbonation and a medium off-white head. Sweet grainy hinted aroma with some slight herby hints. Medium sprankling body. Finish is sour sweet, fruity and suggary hinted. Nicely balanced. Very good faro.
