Tart poopy nose, much less sweet than the other Faro I tried, this is more my style. Hazy orange gold, sticky white lacing. Tart lemon is abruptly replaced with a liquid sugar until only sweet lemon remains. The sweetness covers up the complexity I’ve grown to love from the standard gueuze.

Bottle at some eatery in Brussels with a bunch of Danes. Pours a cloudy brown color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet prunes and sugar. The flavor is a very sweet brown ale with light lambic sourness. Enjoyable. Earthy.

Almost copper pour with light head and lace. A hint of brown sugar and belgian yeast and some spice. Sweet brown sugar flavor, sour and tart finish with a very sharp finish. Medium bodied with nice aggressive carbonation. An almost cherry flavor.

From barrel at Bier Circus.
Appearance : Deep clear amber with no head.
Aroma : Woody with brown sugar. Rather subtle.
Taste : Woody, light acidic, moderate sweetness. Some brown sugar. Light notes of exotic fruits. Lingering sugars on the finish
Overall : Quite interesting one. Nose is a bit boring but taste is interesting. The exotic fruits notes were similar to what I get in some ice ciders. The sweetness attenuates the strong woody presence of the lambic. Quite enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy light cherry red with a white head.
The aroma is fruity, funky and sour. The flavor is lightly sweetened fruit delivered on what I felt to be a watery palate.
Reminded me of a thin Lindemann’s.

Bottled 375ml. Good head retention. Raisin, vinegar, wood, christmas pudding and apples in the nose. I didn’t really enjoy this beer. Dissapointing.
