clear amber, large thick smoth offwhite head.
dry aroma of brett, stable, fruits, balanced, and hinting at a good sour experience.
flavor is bitter, brett, berries in the background, sweetness, not much sourness, still comes off as a nice bittersweet bretty slightly sour thing.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8586) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2009
It’s a beautiful brown-red/copper color and the head is small. The aroma has notes of sweetness, sourness, peal of citrus fruits and some cane sugar. The flavour has sweetness and sourness with notes of peal of grapefruit and oranges, a tart grapefruit that develops and some sour berries also are found. Now, I’m not a Faro specialist in any way, but I prefer the Lindemans... 2334 (had forgotten to ad this rating 2 years old)

Bottled with a plastic cork, Girardin goes modern...
Amber color. Not very much of an aroma. A vague woody caramelly touch. Sweet flavor, woody with lemon. Caramelly, dusty. A bit of nutty bitterness. Some sherry character. Likeable, but not my favorite from Girardin.
