(Bottle. 03/2006) Clear, amber. Fast-disipating, fizzy white head. Nose of diacetyl (strong butterscotch), autolysis (rotting meat), and oxidation (cardboard). No real acetic notes which makes the aroma quite unappealing for a lambic product. Butterscotch mixed with sweet caramel on the mouth. Overly sweet and way, way too buttery ... oily palate.

Brown-colored beer with small foam. I should not it be allowed to rate such a beer, since I have not learned to value this beer but ... Nasty tastes, smells horribly of stale beer. Sour beer and so anyway with a sweet finnish.

Drain pour. First off, it is technically impossible to bottle true Faro. It will detonate in the bottle. Anyway, it pours a clear light amber with a tiny tan head. Malty aroma with closet and barnhouse floor. Taste is really odd with sickly sweetness, stale grains, chemicals. Yuck.

Bottle. Clear dark amber coloured. Honey and apricots - brown sugar. A bit dry finish - feels a bit oily in the mouth. Way way too sweet.

JohnRMurdoch (1573) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAR 19, 2011
Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brugge. Comes in a mini champagne like bottle. Pungent sour fruity yeasty aroma. Clear medium brown colour with a good head. Strange bitter fruity flavour with coffee caramel aftertaste. A bit like dry vimto. Not really my thing.

Bottle @ home, shared with Thompson. Light amber / dark copper color, thin white lacing on top. Smell malts and lots of grains. Tastes grainy and lightly sour. Pretty boring. Low to medium carbonation, low body.

JensenTaster (1718) - DENMARK - AUG 16, 2005
(on bottle at RBESG 2005)Rusty coloured, white head, not much tnough. A flat mouthfeel and a sour-sweet taste of kandis and bramble. Not a kicker, but an ok, quiet pour for a lazy afternoon, not a grand tasting.

Bottle. Youghurt-like sourness. Very sweet on the palate and again with the feeling of drinking youghurt. A waste of good lambic.

Bottle at ZBF 2008. Clear dark red/brown - white head. Aroma: wet dog, light sourness, light malty. Taste: Mushrooms, champion, brown sugar, light light cherries, high sweetness. Not very pleasant.

Bragesnak (3859) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2010
Tasting at DØE-meeting, Aarhus Syd, DK. Bottled, 170310. Amber with small head. Aroma of acid and fruit. Flavor is cane sugar with the sour backbone. Why artiifical additives?
