Bottle @ home, shared with Thompson. Ruby red color, small off-white head. Smell raspberry, fruits, sweet and sour. Taste sweet, sour and red fruits. Soft carbonation, low to medium body. Well balanced, nice beer.

Bottle. Pale red with a whitish-pink head. Raspberries and funkiness. Sourness balanced with acidity, lightly bodied, lingering bitterness and sweetness underneath it all.

Bottle. Pours a deep pink with very pale pink head. Big aromas of raspberries as expected. Some acidity and a little earthy funk but the raspberries very much dominate. Likewise the flavours are very much about the fruti. Some faro like sweetness balanced really well against some sourness and the earthy funk. Lively carbonation. Medium mouthfeel. Really good.

Red coloured and light hazy. Has a light pink head, fully lasting. Great aroma, red berries, raspberry. Nice. Flavor is light sweet, moderate astringent, light acid, faint raspberries. Dry texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle: Pretty big light pink head, which disappears pretty quick, on top of a dark pink to reddish colored beer (with a light brown shine on the bottom of the glass). Smell only red fruit: raspberry, cherry and a hint of something like strawberries. Taste is a strange mix of red fruit, mostly raspberry and a touch of strawberry, a light sourness and some hints of old hops, yeast, dust and something light soapy. There’s some very light sweetness to be found in the far back of this beer that reminds me of brown sugars and caramel. There’s a long but soft bitterness (old hops and some yeast even a touch of a nasty malty bitterness) and very light sourness in the aftertaste. Medium carbo, medium to fuller body, soft tingly mouthfeel and a light watery texture. Not bad, but I expected more.

From the bottle at In De Verzekering Tegen De Grote Dorst during last week’s Belgium trip. Reviewed from notes. Served in a Girardin stemmed flute-like glass. Poured pink-red. Mostly red with a pinkish tint to it. Short head and a bit of lacing. Nose brought lots of fresh raspberry, though there was a faint bit of a medicinal character to it in the background, and this came through much more in the flavor, though still didn’t overwhelm the beer. Faint must and a bit of acidity after a light body.

Red body, redish head. Very hard and tight overall strawbeery taste. Really nicely on the edge of beeing acidic and sweet. Sour and not at all artificial.
