Deep clear garnet pink pour with a small pinkish white head. The nose is pure raspberry flesh and raspberry seed with hints of tartness and hints of farmy funk. The flavor is fantastic- raspberry flesh bursting around mildly acidic funk with hints of wood and tannic acid. The palate is light and refreshing with low carbonation and a dry finish.

En 2009:a. Har lambicens syrlighet men med en liten sötma från hallonen. Väldigt liten beska. Djuprosa färg med tunnt skum som snabbt lägger sig.

A fresh raspberry aroma and a turquoise appearance. Nice sparkle to it. Minimal white head. Medium sour taste with the raspberries clearly present. This is a refreshing and wonderful fruit lambic.

Bottle at GBBF, Day 4. Pours a mostly clear pink-red with a small, white head. Rich raspberry nose. Medium sweet flavor, some mild tart raspberries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean, light sweet finish, plenty of true raspberry notes. Super drinkable. Nice.

Scopey (1192) - Croydon, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2011
Bottle from Nelson Wines. It pours a wonderful pink-red colour with a thin foamy white head and lively carbonation. The nose is sweet and sour raspberry, juicy red grape and wood. The taste is juicy raspberry and red grape, raspberry ripple ice-cream, light to moderate sourness and some wood notes towards the finish. Not the sourest of the Girardin beers, but very well balanced nonetheless. A very juicy and drinkable fruit lambic.

Bottle, 37,5 cl. A pink to red natural coloured beer with a little pink head. Aroma is very nice: the natural fruity aroma of raspberries at one hand, the typical light sour lambic aroma at the other hand. The taste is also nice: a fruity natural raspberry taste with a hoppy background combined with a light sour aftertaste. A light acidity can be noticed after a while but is very well hidden in a very well balanced beer. In general not the greatest taste however, but still a very good one - as usual from Girardin.
