Brght red, with a white/pinkish head. Aroma is rasperries, with a bit of brett. The taste is intense Rasberries with a lovely sourness. A very nice Framboise

Reddish color with a slight pinkish head. The taste is a rather complex mix of the fruity raspberries and a balanced sourness from the lambic. a little too sweet imho.

Red colour with small hints of pink and brown. Bubbly white head with some pink notes. Fresh but a bit too sweet raspberry aroma. Small notes of acidicy and wood. Medium sweet flavour of raspberries. Light and a bit short finish with a small amount of tartness. Decent stuff.

Bottled. Purchased at Delirium Cafe. Browned ruby with a slightly reddened whitish head. Nose is a sweeter raspberry aroma with minor tartness. Taste is tart raspberries with some lighter sweetness. Sort of like raspberry jam without being overloaded with sugar. Body has faint acidity and is pleasantly tart. Finish is fruity with moderate sour notes. Light sweetness intermingled as well.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2005 Bottle bought in Belgium. 375ml & corked, served in a Girardin glass. Dark pink, fluffy off-white head. Aroma is strong of raspberry (think raspberry jam), with just a tiny bit of sourness coming through. Slightly dry in the mouth and tastes strongly of raspberry strong of fruit, but the flavour is not overwhelmed with sweetness. This still retains much of the lambic character, it is tart, slightly sour and jammy with a definate taste of raspberry pips.

Bottled. I took the cage off and gave the cork a quarter turn and it then opened itself. I literally watched the cork gradually release itself, and then whoosh it clattered against the ceiling. No dent though so all good. The beer itself is a pinky red with tons of bubbles. The smell is very very raspberry and sweet. The taste is more fruity than tart but there is some tartness there so it doesn’t just taste like raspberry pop. A nice fruit beer.

Bottle: The bottle opened with a large POP! Poured a bright red/pink colored beer with a huge head with excellent retention. Carbonation is very strong and aroma is comprised mainly of sweet raspberry. Taste is very refreshing with a very good taste of raspberry (not too much sweetness though) and tart. I appreciated the fact that the acidic part was well covered and wasn’t taking too much place. Overall, this was a very refreshing drink that I wouldn’t mind trying again on a hot summer day.
