3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 womencantsail (3572) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - APR 20, 2011
A: The pour is a lively pinkish red color with a very small pinkish head.
S: Smells of sweet raspberries. Nowhere near as funky as their gueuze (one of my favorites). The fruit character is intense and the beer is moderately sour, which is good, but the nose certainly lacks the depth of many other lambics.
T: Lots of raspberry flavor, too. Quite sweet, but there is a good bit of acidity and a little bit of vinegar, though nowhere near as much as I typically get from a framboise. Mild funk and oak, maybe a bit of grass.
M: Medium in body with very soft carbonation.
O: Okay for a fruit lambic, but certainly on the sweet side. I was expecting something more along the lines of their gueuze.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 OleR (3510) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2011
0,375L corked bottle. Big pink-shaded blond top. Red colored body with nuances of orange and ruby. Smell of sweet jammy raspberries. Taste has an evenly sweet and acidic, juicy raspberry flavor. A certain tartness provides a dry berry-ish finish. A bit one-dimensional maybe, but clean and genuin raspberry all over. Nice!
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20 kerolasa (353) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2010
Clear ruby red colour. Almost no head, just a ring a round glass. Smell has a lot of raspberry. Sour and plenty of acid. Raspberry is very clear with some mould sort of aroma, but there’s not whole lot of anything else. Overall quite good, and I really can imaging drinking this again.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2012 2010:375ml opened September 2010
A: Medium red body with a bit of pinkish hue to the edges. Thin pinkish-white head which quickly receded. Only the slightest hints of lacing at first before completely vanishing.
S: Smells like sweet raspberry jam. A little leather. Some generalized sourness tips it’s hat.
T: The raspberry jam-like character is still there, but it shifts from a more sweet rendition in the nose to a tarter, lightly sour version. Just a hint of oak, and some leather. No funky notes.
M: Medium-light bodied, with a soft, gentle carbonation which leaves a slightly thin spot towards the finish. Light tartness in the finish.
O Tasty, and somewhat unique in that its not a massively tart framboise (lou pepe or rose de gambrinus) nor is it medicinally sweet (lindemans or boon). Worth a try indeed.
