Coppery pink pour. Great, big raspberry aroma - quite pure and not very funky. Fairly dry flavor with a distinctive raspberry seed aspect.

Reddish coloured beer with small white head and medium carbonation visible. A fruity full raspberry aroma. Full slightly sparkling sweet palate. Finish is fruity sweet ening slightly sour. Nice balanced beer, good flavour. Good one.

Bottle at the Waterhuis, while being laughed at by Host Herman and SeaBass. Deep purple color, fluffy pink head that settles slowly. Aroma of massive fruit, dust, lemon. Taste is citrus, raspberry finish, dry and sour toward the end. Light body. Decent.

Bottle. A strong smell of raspberries, sweet, some syrup. The small white foamy head has a normal duration, the body is dark red. The taste is light sour and sweet, not as sour as other framboises. The body is dry without much carbonation and with a light body.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2011 330ml corked. The aroma kissed my nose with tart rasberry funk .
this purple liquid sits in an Orval chalice like it owns it. You pay your money for that puckering , bone dry fruity acidity that real Lambic posses, this made we wince and shiver . . Legit Frambroise Lambics are really classy when executed with this kinda elegance.

Tasted 2010-06-13. Bottle from 2010. Pours clear, deep red with no head. Raspberry aroma. Not much funk in aroma or taste. A very girl-friendly framboise. Not much acidity for the style, but not sweet either. Pretty good actually.

Bottled sample consumed at Cambrinus. Clear rose in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of raspberry (fruit, leaves, and stalk), along with a bit of lemon rind. Mild slightly sweet raspberry fruit dominate the palate, along with more stalk, lemon, and a low level of funk. Not nearly as sour and funk filled as I’d usually want in this sort of beer, but acidic enough to strike a reasonable balance.
