Very good lambic. Clear ruby red, nose is of actual raspberries and a hint of something rural in the background, maybe a bit like a farmhouse on a misty june morning, something earthy and soft tangy animal smell. Very nice!
Taste is sour, clean, nice soft bitterness and leaves a dry quiet aftertaste, a hint of something acidic. Perfect beer for a picnic in a park.

A fresh raspberry aroma and a turquoise appearance. Nice sparkle to it. Minimal white head. Medium sour taste with the raspberries clearly present. This is a refreshing and wonderful fruit lambic.

37.5 cL [corked and caged]: an oozing stream of liquid garnet meanders through the raspberry bed . . . mint, lime zest, oak, bark, honey, and earth hang in the air. As I approach the patch the sunbeams cut the thick air and warm my skin. I feast on the raspberries and notice luscious complexities of iron, pomegranates, orange flesh, blood, hay, limestone, and dry earth. Full carbonation make for an amazing treat.

Bottle, 37,5 cl. Hazy, red color with white-pinkish head. Aroma of fresh raspberries, little yeasts. Medium body. Taste full of raspberries, sourness, very fruity, with a dry finish.
Very good for a framboise.

Bottle that I picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium March 09 Pours the richest most glorious deep ruby red, good clarity and with a fluffy pink head that Barbie would just love for a foam party. The raspberry aroma’s fly off of this with some confectionery sweet raspberry notes as well which just take the edge off of it a touch. This is sweet, tart, sour, crisp, refreshing, actually this is just summer in a glass. I’m reminded of raspberry meringues and picking rapberries off of the canes down the garden, gorging myself when Loz’s back is turned as they are her favourite fruit and turning around and getting caught out with the odd stray pip and scarlet chin proving my undoing. This isn’t as sour as some but that maybe why I am attracted to it even more, for me this is just great and how I like a fruity lambic. great stuff! A8 A5 F9 P5 Ov17 4.4

Tasted 2010-06-13. Bottle from 2010. Pours clear, deep red with no head. Raspberry aroma. Not much funk in aroma or taste. A very girl-friendly framboise. Not much acidity for the style, but not sweet either. Pretty good actually.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2011 330ml corked. The aroma kissed my nose with tart rasberry funk .
this purple liquid sits in an Orval chalice like it owns it. You pay your money for that puckering , bone dry fruity acidity that real Lambic posses, this made we wince and shiver . . Legit Frambroise Lambics are really classy when executed with this kinda elegance.

Bottle from Utobeer, Attractive scarlet colour with pink lasting head. Intense raspberry jam aroma. Expect it to be sicly sweet, but the hit of sourness that comes in later, balances it. Good integrated fruit. Real fruit flavour, not artificial. You can really taste the pips on this. Some vanilla raspberry ripple ice cream-esque. Wonderful quality fruit lambic
