Bottle. Pours a blush bruin body with a light pink and off white head with a light retention and no lacing. Aromatically tart raspberries and hint of cranberries. Light raspberry and apple puree and a mild sense of sweetness in the aroma. Tart funky body with a lick of prickly raspberry seeds and some light funk. A light spritzy sweetness in the body a light sugar note, a hint of acidity but i cant help but feel something is missing. A light body feels a bit thin up front with a light berry sweetness, actually very low acidity very low tartness very little wild funk or barnyard feel. Not your classic nutty/seedy finish. Just feels a bit thin, soft and with a hint of lemon and raspberries. Still nice but i want more depth in a good framboise.

Bottle in Ghent. Really fun to try. White head and a nice read pour. Big raspberry nose and taste. A tad sweet highlighting the sweet and sourness of raspberries. Good, but not really what I was after.

Has a decent, foamy head, with a clear light-ruby color. Smells of sweet, ripe raspberries, sugar and tart hints - reminding me of raspberry marmelade, which got a sour note to it. Tastes actually not as sweet as the nose promised, due to an unexpected high carbonation and a watery middlepart. Begins quite fruity, centered around raspberry marmelade, with a gentle, refreshing sourness, drying out the tongue. Finishes with both, a subtle sour acidity and a sweet fruitiness, while the overall impression remains, that this beer is a bit too watery and sweet for this style.

Deep red with a small head. A lot of rather sweet raspberries in the aroma. Also some light notes of barnyard. Also a lot of raspberries in the taste, but not as sweet as in the aroma. Dry with a light tartness. Refreshing and pleasant to drink.

Bottle acquired from La Cave a Bulles in Paris. Poured in my hotel room in Antwerp. Pours a deep reddish pink color with a small, quickly receding, pinkish white head. Aroma is lots of sweet, sweet raspberries, just a hint of tartness, a little bit of medicinal notes but not bad. Flavor is lots of very sweet raspberry, but this still has the expected funky sour gueuze in there that puckers you up. Returns to very sweet raspberry on the palate, with just a hint of medicinal note. Light to medium bodied, medium plus carbonation. Overall the raspberries could be dialed back a bit here to let the funky gueuze shine through. But overall not bad at all.

Pours ruby-tinted copper with a pink-tinged head. Nose shows authentic raspberries with a little funk in the background. Flavours focus on sweet raspberry jam at first followed by a pronounce, balancing bitterness. Perhaps just a little on the sweet side overall. Nice moderately high carbonation works well.
