Aroma is wild and sweet, but metallic. Tate is similar, with a sweet element but also an antiseptic taste. Feels a bit watery too, but luckily a little dry.

375ml bottle. Reddish colour, pink foam head and aroma of raspberry jam, funk. Taste is sour, fruity raspberry, citric rind, barnyard. Sharp mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, tart lingering finish. Nicely drinkable.

From bottle in snifter. Intense blood red color small white head around edges. Raspberries, apricot, lemon. Delicate on the pallet, moderate sourness, sparkling carbonation, fruit and sour lingers for a while. Some hints of funk as it warms. Enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted on 3/13/15 from a corked and caged 375mL bottle, big thanks to Churney for picking this one up. Pours hazy dark red with a thick, lightly pink tinted head that slowly recedes to thick, messy lace. The nose is full of fresh raspberry jam, a touch of green bell pepper pyrazine, lemon peel, and light funk. The flavor is tart lemon, tons of fresh raspberry puree, light bread malt, and light funk. The body is fairly light with lively carbonation, and a long, tart lemon, and raspberry puree finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Red hazy. Sweet raspberry, slight seedy, vanilla on nose. Creamy. Dry, tarty with sweet jammy flavours. Some hay malts, bit lacking in intensity, but not too bad though. Bit stale also, malts feel washed out, watery flat. Like the slight tart and clean flavour. Nice, but below average framboise (considering girardin’s track record).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Pours a red colour, pan flat. Perfumed aroma of fruit and some mustiness. I shared this with Mrs FH and she likes these kind of beers: she thought the aroma was of cigars, much like the taste. I can see where she is coming from, the initial sweetness is there, then a sharp and sour aftertaste. Some fruitiness, then that cigarness again. OK overall.

Very nice and smooth rasberry lambic. Good palate, not too sweet, beautiful colour and nice sour finish. Not as good as cantillon but very pleasant and well balanced.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Light ruby with small pink head. Dough, raspberries, red berries, cherry pits, light yoghurt, hay, yeasty. Light sweet with earthy dry finish, with some woody bitterness. Medium bodied with slick feel and very dry at the end. Interesting stuff, quite different from other fruit lambics.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark ruby red color, very little pale pink foam. The smell is almost too raspberry-like it seems chemical. The taste is sour and raspberry. The carbonation decays a bit quicker than hoped for, but it still is okay. It is a tiny bit boring for a spontaneous fermented beer. Nevertheless, this is an awesome beer.
