At a private tasting in Serbia with markoijelena and luttonm. "Pour it"cloudy and slightly hazy golden/orange, white gassy foam. Nose: light acetic feel, round citrus notes. Mouth: very balanced and round acetic balance between vinegar and green apple/grapefruit. Great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle from beermerchants.com. Clear deep orange-gold amber colour, frothy white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of zesty lemon rind, wood, funk, yeasty. Taste is sour tangy lemon citrus, woody notes, fruity yeasty, barnyard, some bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour and bitter finish. Lovely stuff, very drinkable!

Multiple bottles, both aged and fresh. This rating is for a fresh sample. Clear copper-orange with a white head that receeds in a lasting ring of foam. Aroma is classic barnyard that you get from the best gueuzes, green apples, brett, grain, hay. Funk is rather moderate. Taste is deliciously tart, wood, leather, lemon and a light fruity sweetness. One of the most quaffable fresh gueuze out there. Among the best, definitly the best quality/price ratio you can get.

375ml bottle served in a tulip. Corked bottle. REF C X 2013 stamped in the cork. Made big pop when opened. A: Pours a golden bit cloudy yellow color forming a huge white fluffy and highly bubbled head. Good retention. The head never disappears completely, leaving tons of lacings and chunks of foam in the glass S: Very fruity as expected. Strong notes of white grapes and green apples. Tart and vinegar. Light notes of grains. Lambic yeasts. A little bit metallic too T: Very fruity and tart. Not extremely tart. In fact, the first sip is quite tart but from the second you can realise that this is a considerably smooth wild beer. Strong notes of white grapes and green apples. Lambic yeasts are also bit earthy. In overall, a dry beer with intense tartness. End is a bit bitter and metallic M: Light body. Extreme carbonation. Tart and fruity aftertaste O: Very drinkable. Extremely smooth and easy drinking Gueuze. In the same level of a Drie Fonteinen or a Cantillon. Mandatory to wild beer lovers [ BA Review @ 11/11/2012 ]

Wow I’m surprised given the price. Plums and apricot, nice sourness. Well balanced gueuze with a beautiful color. I Love it!
