Very delicate lacing. Nose- lemon, must, oak, hay. Taste- juicy sourness, dry green apple, lemon zest and dry oak finish. Medium carbonation, and actually has a smooth texture. Drinkable as all hell.

Aroma is very funky - a little hard for me to describe with my slim lambic/sour knowledge. Taste is also funky. Some oak and plenty of tart fruit. Body was light and nicely carbonated. Finish was tart. A very good lambic.

Pours a wonderfully clear IPA gold with a fluffy/fizzy white head. Nose is sweet grain, clean acidity, very soft, minimal barnyard if at all, lemons, lactic. Taste is powerful. There is a very dry aspect to this with very green apples and very underripe cherries, tannic type bitterness. I also get a pleasant sweetness in the far reaches, as well as a level of grain. It’s funny, I thought I knew what a gueuze should taste like having had a few, but this one to me is gueuze. I need to try the 3F vintage stuff now, I can only imagine it to be perfect... As this one warms, it just keeps getting better. slight skunk from the hops (in a good way), peaches and apricots. I think I get it now, after reading Wild Brews. It’s not an acid bomb, it’s just a perfect beverage... darn1207 (543), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
