(I lost my tasting notes so this is the best of my recollection.) An excellent gueze with a strong sourness but lots of complexity an development. Smells and tastes of citrus but also a sweet bitterness. Strong and very dry. I really liked this one! BoBoChamp (1346), Gent, Belgium

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 26, 2008 An all around great sour beer!!! head size is small and light brown. The head longevity is mostly diminishing. The body clarity is murky with some small to medium particles inside the burnt amber hue of the body.
It has a slight sour taste initially but then at the finish of the beer the sour taste becomes exceptionally strong.
The beer is light on the palate and the texture is dry. The carbonation is lively and the finish feel is very dry!! BMan1113VR (2813), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

Taste is sour all the way through with a bit of sweetness towards the finish. Dry mouthfeel with lively bubbles. have since had an aged bottle thanks to lumpy. Aroma turns to more cobwebs/library with great complexity. Taste is still very citrus sour... A very good beer, but I actually prefer it with only about 1 year of age... bleeng (595), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

The cork blew when I took off the cage-fortunately no injuries reported. Gold, filtered with a small white head. Nose of bitterness, funk, tons of aroma-nice. Taste of astringency, bitterness, tartness, pucker-nish just so nice and right. Wonderfully drinkable and refreshing-wish I would have loaded up on this one. Great beer.
