Commercial Description:
Unfiltered.

Poured from a bottle. Poured a light, hazy amber color with a nice white head. Sour, somewhat fruity aroma. Flavor opens with a sweet taste that leads into a sour, crisp finish. Dry finish with hints of oak. My first gueuze, but definitely not my last.

375ml bottle found at Green’s in Altlanta, GA
I popped the cork and it took off like a rocket. I was ready for it, but still nothing I could do. I sucked some of the spillage up off the counter, and it stung the hell out of my chapped lips. OUCH!
When I finally managed to get it in the glass, it produces mostly a huge whire head. It eventually turned in to a yellow-orange beer with a lot of bubbles.
I suppose the aroma is pretty much the same for all gueuze. Cob webs, dusty, oak barrel, ’horse blanket’. Not really sure what else to say about it.
Over the top tart. Very much like orange juice concentrate. Not a bad flavor, be very aggressive.
Medium body. Highly effervesant. Dry, but not as dry as expected.
I wish I would have shared this with somebody. I like it, but its a bit much for me.

Hazy dark orange pour. Thick sour aroma, strange barnyard tones. Flavor is orange juice mixed with malt liquor -- a "brass monkey." Slightly better than that. All the flavors are too strong, and there’s no elegance or subtlety. There are some good sour flavors coming out, but overall I am disappointed. It’s hard for me to describe lambics, but I know I’ve had good ones and bad ones, and this is not what I would call a good one. All I get, honestly, is the orange juice/malt liquor blend flavor from this.

375ml @ Hamilton’s. Shared with Tony. Pours light orange. Nose is pure funk with a big ole kick in the head. Taste is sweet and sour funk with a nice barnyard bucker. Damn good gueze.

Aroma is huge crisp citrus and malt. Very nice, crisp, sour aroma. Taste is very acidic, bretty and citrus. Smells all farmy. Finishes somewhat bitter and acidic with a lingering tartness and dull bitterness on the back of the tongue. Very nice.

One of the world’s killer lambics awaits you in the black label. Sour but smooth--delightful gueze! Bursting with flavor and character. Nuanced. Worth seeking out and/or revisiting.

Color is organge and hazy with a thin white foamy head. Aroma is that of champagne with a spicy orange and tart odor. Palate extremely carbonated and dry with multiple layers of taste. Taste is somewhat like champagne-sour apple with notes of cork. Smooth unique dry finish
