A wonderfully crazy beer, that sustains a great sourness throughout. Excellent. Poobah (101), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Fruity, yeasty, floral aroma. Golden color with light persistent head. Tart. The flavor grew on me just like other Geueze I have tasted. Very citrusy like a grapefruit. Well carbonated with a mild mouthfeel. Long, dry, bitter aftertaste. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 22, 2007 375ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a bubbly white head that settled down quickly. Strong sour citrus aroma with muscat grapes, green apples, a lot of woodiness, and a definite musty character. Flavors were very intensely sharp and sour, with a slight bitterness. Highly carbonated, soft fizzy mouthfeel with an ultra-dry finish. This stuff is really great, I could drink it all day... rederic (1803), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 21, 2007 750ml bottle, hazy honey gold hue, with a white head, nice corbanation, with some horseblanket, barnyard notes in the nose, revealing a fruity accent of sour rhubard, and green apples, with a wet oakiness, a good tart and acidic, funky mustiness aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a wonderful lambic fruity tartness and sourness character, with a zesty acidic accent, note of wet hay, and oakiness, leading towards a tart, acidic dry finish. Maybe not quite enough sharp for me, but nevertheless, a very unique beer, for a very unique style. OSLO (826), Perth, Australia

Awesome beer, my only regret is that I had to drink it a little faster than I would have liked as it was closing time. Going to have to pick up a bottle of this if I can find it. It retains the lambic sourness but in such a good way that it is now one of the benchmarks I have to go off of. I wish I could find this a lot more often. When I find it again though, I have dibs on a case. Spectacular sour balance, even with the sourness being completely over the top. Possibly my favourite beer ever. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Very nice representative of the style. Has a gently sophisticated funkiness to it. Sourness is not overpowering either. Just a hint of spice at the end. bgburdman9 (822), Columbus, Ohio, USA

The cork shot out the bottle very easily.Poured a slightly cloudy orange copper color with a large bubbled white head Served lightly chilled. Aroma was citrus, sour, funkiness. A little saison like. Flavor was tart and sour but not overbearing. Pretty easy to drink for a lambic and pretty dry overall.
