COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered.

Bright peach colour with big foamy head. Aroma is lemon citric, wet sock. Taste is peppery tartness, big bodied, creamy and sour. Sensation on mouth is like fizzy sherbert. Palate is lingering tart like a resinous IPA. Overall, lovely gueze, but missing some complexity of the greats.

Bottle from Phillycraft. Pours hazy orangish copper with golden tints and small white head. Aromas of horse blanket, some funk, tartness, lemon citrus. Flavors of lemon, dusty malts, barnyard, and a nice acidic tartness. Really nice body and carbonation. Classic gueuze.

Bottle. Pours a darker copper color with a moderate fizzy white head. Nose has hints of citrus and acidity, but isn’t overpowering. Taste is just a tad sour and is nice and dry. Feels very smooth. Good drink.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2013 27/I/13 - 2 x 37,5cl bottle @ home, paired with mussels in witbier and fries, a classic! (2013-105)

Clear deep orange beer, aery off-white head, falls down fast to a more stable fine off-white layer of bubbles, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: typical bretta, some citrus, oranges, dusty, pretty fruity in general. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: soft mellow sourness, citric acidity, ripe melons, green apples, bit spicy, peppery. Aftertaste: citric acidity, touch of vinegar, sour apple skin, bit spicy. Really one of my all-time favourite geuzes, probably the reason it took me so long to rate it.

Hazy golden blond coloured beer with small whtie head and only few carbonation visible. Sourish fruity aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is rather sour dry.
