| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Vertical vintages 1999 and 2005. The ’05 has a tart and yeasty aroma compared to the sweeter and more sour aroma of the ’99. The ’05 rather simple tart green apples with a woody dry finish. The ’99 however is much more gueze like, the sour and tartness are rounded out very nicely before fading to an earthy oakiness. Very smooth and a creamier mouthfeel that finishes with a touch of alcohol in the back of the throat. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 6, 2006 bottle - Aroma is sour over-ripened fruit, wet horse blanket, hay, yeast, with strong tart citrus undertones. Very inviting. Pours cloudy yellow brown with a nice big quickly fading head that comes back everytime I swirl. Decent lacing. Flavor is snappy cheek puckering sour. Lemon, wet hay, horse hair, and white vinegar. They all take turns and really shine together. Palate is dry and tart. A complex and super tasty brew. Glouglouburp (2810), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Updated: Apr 9, 2009Cloudy golden-copper body with a large white head. Intense barnyard aroma. Taste is hay, green and red apples, dry branches. Acidity level is medium and I’d even say it is below average for the genre. Some brett in there adds that little “it” factor that makes it stand out even if not by much. The best gueuze? maybe, I’m not a guru of the genre. I believe that when I die I’m going to a place with unlimited supply of Black Label. Will it be heaven or hell? Depends if the labels say Girardin or Carling. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Cloudy orange colourwith a small white head. Nose is fruity, quite sour and some yeasty must followed by a citrus touch. Flavour is citrus fruit with aggressive acidicy with some barny mustiness. Hints of peaches and flowers before a nice dry finish. The sour fruit is nice and balanced making this a very nice lambic.
