Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 3, 2004 An extremely explosive beer - about half of it ran over when I opened it. The color is an unclear dark orange and it has a beutiful though collapsing orange head. The aroma is lovely of grapefruit but also with notes of wood. The flavor is very nicely sour with notes of grapefruit, wood, and lemon. The sourness draw the mouthwater. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 19, 2002 Pale amber coloured. Extremely complex with balanced, tart acidity.
One of few beers that combines being both very flavourful and very refreshing. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 8, 2007 (Bottle 37,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with floating impurities and an off-white head. Sourish, vinous aroma with some wood. Medium body, lightly sweet caramel and a distinct sourness. Again these lovely wooden flavours. Sour finish. 090507 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 13, 2001 Updated: Jun 25, 2006Golden-amber with chill haze.
