Pours a clear golden amber with a small white fizz. Aroma citric and funky with a lot of minerally bandaid in a good way. There is a slight underlying sweetness as well. Flavor is wonderfully sour and pungent. Lots of great lambic character. Excellent beer.

Light amber with medium off-white head. Sweet and sour aroma. Sourness in the taste is well balanced with certain sweetness followed by remaining soft bitterness.

37,5cl bottle at Van Moll brewpub, Eindhoven. Slightly hazy orange colour, slim foamy white head. White grapes, citrus fruity and light vinegar tardness, vanilla cask, very light barnyard earthy tones, malts are sweetening, smooth but dry finish. Fruity aftertaste. High carbonation, good body.

Bottle shared at the Cad’s. 5%. No date unfortunately. I picked it up 3 years ago. Hazy orange, small foamy white head, still. Aroma is lemon, earthy, sour. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is dry, lemony, floral, juicy, finishes crisp with an acidic linger. Good.

Bottle to glass. Pours a nice burnt orange color with an off white head. Aroma is a delicious tart fruits, light belgian yeast. Flavor has a good sour to it with a touch of sweetness to balance it out. Excellent gueuze!

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2015 Personally my favorite gueuze. Sour, yet balanced and complex beer. Marveously refreshing. Very nice when a little aged.

15cl at the Ghent Beer Festival in 2014. In the glass one gets a lovely golden look. A very sour beer, even for a gueuze style. The finish is very nice. A genuine, great, tasteful beer of Girardin.
