Unfiltered.

First dip into gueuze here. Pours a pale hazy orange with thick creamy white head, lots of lacing and head retention. Aroma obvious of tartness, earthy character, citrus, and an expected funk. Flavor matches well and makes for a really enjoyable alternative. I will definitely be experimenting a bit more in this area, this was pretty dang good.

Bottle. Interestingly this pours darker than most Gueuze’s I’ve had, its almost like teak. Pours with a large white head which recedes to a half-finger depth. Aroma is basement funk, mouldy cheese, citric. Taste is sour green apples, slight lemon, hay, musty tartness.

Fantastic. Pours a hazy apricot colour. Aromas of stable and funk, cider vinegar, salt and vinegar chips. Flavours are funky and sour. But not too sour. Very well balanced and very good.

Absolument magnifique!
