3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bart (2919) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 21, 2008
Darker amber coloured ber, no carbonation nor head. Light oaky, yeasty buttery aroma, maybe some light infection? Full palate. FInish is sweet sour combined, some more heavy dought touches. Not bad, but i suspect an infection of the beer in this case.

Body is hazy light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly yeast (barnyard).

Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Not very aromatic or sour, quaffable but not very interesting.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fonefan (29292) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2010
Draught @ De Rare Vos, 22 Marktplein, 1703 Schepdaal, Belgium. Unclear hazy - murky medium orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate barnyard, leather, apple, overripped apples bitter sharp. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, moderate bitter, and sour notes with a average to long duration. Bitternes is like cold acrid tea, ala homemade ice tea. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat to soft, IMO not harmonious. [20090531]

2/07/2011 on tap @ Oostendse Bierjutterij (2011-298)
Clear orange beer, no head. Aroma: cheese and dairy, bread, bretta (very little). MF: medium body, no carbon. Taste: medium sour, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: bitter (chemical/medicinal). Great disappointment given the fact that the Girardin Geuze is one of my all time favorites.
