Pours ruby, minimal pink head. Smell very sweet, candied cherry. Taste is sweet cherry up front, light tartness on the tail. Very big, juicy cherry. Lighter bodied. Not as funky as I would like, but decent.

Tap@Fermentoren, Cph - Pours a glowing red colour, with a thin white/pink head. Fruity cherry tart as well as some sour acidity, some floral and herbalness, high carb and quite watery in body. Interesting sweet/dry/sour complexity to this, decent overall.

worldbeertaste (1545) - AUSTRIA - SEP 23, 2013
Deep ruby red with a frothy, medium pink lacy head. Smells of cherry with a light citrus tartness tinge and sweet and sour. Medium oily body with medium carbonation but still very smooth. Strong sweet taste of cherry balanced against the sourness of the cherry. Tart, sweet with a dry finish. Deep of character and taste. A nice lambic

This kriek has a nice pinkish head that disappears soon. After the head, the aroma is of chearries with the typical kriek sweetness. Nice but not really impressive. Typically kriek with no real surprised. The aroma is similar to the taste. It is a good kriek with a flaour ranging from the sweetness of the kriek to the sourness of the gueueze.

Bottle (8 or 9 years old): Sourly lambic aroma, notes of cherries and wet cellar. Pink color, light pink head. Flavor is few sweet, fruity with not so intensive cherry notes, a hint of almond flavor and notes of cork and barrels. Light bitter finish.

Jäkla härlig kirschbär i doft. Smaken drar åt cocktailbär. Lite syntetiska drag men kan vara något av girardins bättre. Men kanske lite onödigt köp ändå kan jag tycka...

@ bar deco , pours red/pink, Pink/white small head . smell is cherrys and that ’ swiming pool’ scent , wich i , so far, onley good in good kriek-beers . smells promising ! taste is to much carbo, but it goes out extremely fast. after 10 minutes it was almost flat ... sourness is definetly there, as well as cherrys , plus a sweet , candy-ish cherry taste. very intresting !

On tap at Torengen Bier festival. Red wein color with no foam! Aroma was very soar cherry, the flavor is terrible the same. I think this beer was contaminated, because after so very good evaluations here I can only have this conclusion. I had to throw everything out!

EG Bottle shared at Paul’s July 2013 tasting. Pours a bright, vibrant reddish pink body with thin ring of white lacing. Aroma is my favorite combination of cherry pie and indoor swimming pool. Beautiful. Mouthfeel is on the thinner side with notes of sweet cherries, light funk, light wheat, some tannins and sour fruit. Overall a bit thinner bodied then personally preferred, but still a wonderful kriek.

Bottle shared by Dad at Paul’s housewarming tasting. Pours a hazed ruby with a thin white head. Big chewy cherries. Smells like a cherry turnover. Medium bodied, sweet cherries, a touch of sour acidity, beautifully full of cherries. Long cherries, chewy tannins. Lovely. Absolutely beautiful.
