On tap at Mes&Sims wedding. Cheers guys! Clear red beer with a big pink head! Pretty! Light semi dry palate. Light fresh cherry. Just mildly sour. Refreshing.

Keg at MesandSim’s crazy wedding party! It pours clear ruby-red, with a very thin foamy light pink head. The nose is juicy cherry, menthol, cherry tunes and cheese. The taste is juicy cherry, red apple, lemon tartness, fruit salad sweets, rhubarb crumble, sour Granny Smith apple and menthol, with a juicy cherry finish. The sourness is overall low to moderate. A very drinkable, juicy kriek.

Girardin kriek. 750ml bottle thanks to Shawn... pours a crimson mostly transparent pour, berry-like in nature with a thin to medium soft pink head... Aroma is tart cherry in nature. True to the fruit but not funky or lambicy in nature as I would have expected. De ent fruit chxaracter bu lacking in the true sense of the style.. flavorwise is much of the same with a semi-tart earthy cherry sensibility but lacking lots of character. Soft to lively carbonation, body is light but lacking overall. 8/4/7/3/13

bottle. super fruity cherry, fruit juice, light doughy cobweb funk. low-moderate lactic acid. far stretch from black label. weird dry doughy cocoa note. okay.

Shared a 2004 750ml bottle courtesy of Josh & Katie. Pours a reddish brown with lots of sediment. To quote Josh "old funk but no spunk" - past its prime, tartness has faded, cherries are present but muted, almost like a cellar or covered in dust. A strange sweetness partway through the finish then returns to a good tart taste. Would like to try fresh but this was definitely past its prime.

So.. purchased in Amsterdam, Oct 2010, bottle is from .. . Pours a dark tawny rad, medium foam, good lacing .. . aroma of cherry, funk, and wood infested with a beetle that farts berry dust .. . very light bitterness and dope fruit, light funk with a big sweetness, like really big .. . i wanted more fullness and less sweetness .. . little pea in 37 seconds, the serbian murderer on 23 minutes, 19th title- one point away, it really was a good day..

37,5cl bottle. Pours ruby red with a nice soapy almost pink head. Aroma is definitely acidic, with funky and earthy notes. Very nice cherry presence. Taste is cherry tartness and a decise funkiness. Strangely bitter finish, quite odd for the style. Palate is medium with nice carbonation. Overall a nice kriek but sincerely I would have preferred some more acidity and a more dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a deep red with a medium white head. Aroma is sour cherries, some funkiness. Taste is sour cherries, but more obfuscated with funkiness, earthiness and phenolic notes. Palate is pretty light and sour.
