750. Corked and baled. Thanks so much dany. Pours a cloudy garnet with a loose and cottony off white head. Big sugary sweet pie cherry nose. Mildly funky. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet cherry mid palate witb light barnyard funk showing as well. Mild fruity finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 2, 2010
(750 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Rated @ 7.3.2010.)
Ruby colour with a massive off-pink head. The aroma was a slight disappointment; no extreme cherry tartness here. Instead a bit sweet with notes of cherries. Light cherries on the taste with notes of vinegar. Nice palate with a sweet and dry ending.

On cask at Bier Circus. Pours a brown/red color with almost no head. A sweet cherry and brown malt nose. The flavor is simple and subdued; sweet cherries, sour brown ale flavors. Not over the top, smooth fruity flavors.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 nickd717 (3242) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 9, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2010 Unmarked bottle thanks to dyan Pours a muddy brownish-red color with a small off-white head (but then again I got the bottom of the bottle). Substantial yeast sediment adorns the bottle after it is poured. Aroma is vinegary with cherry and funk. Flavor is really vinegary. The cherry flavor is not so good, a little drowned out by the vinegar. Medium body with decent carbonation. Not too much sourness. This was a very disappointing kriek, on the lower end of the style for sure (although considerably better than the bad bottle of Hanssens Oude Kriek I once had).
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dnstone (1458) - Mons, BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2010
Ruby red color with a slight ring of white, bubbly head. Aroma hints at cherry. Tart meets medicinal cherry (though not in such a bad way); bittersweet.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 xmarcnolanx (904) - Kirkwood, Missouri, USA - AUG 5, 2010
2010 bottle.
Pour is ruby with an insanely large off-pink head.
Aroma is funky, lightly tart cherry, mineral, sulphur, and pitted fruit.
Taste is funky, lightly cherry, nutrasweet, plastic, butter, sulfur, more funk, and mineral sweat. Almost no real sourness. Just a strange change of pace. Tastes like plastic and smashed assholes.
Finish is slightly sweet, bitter, and a bit watery.
Interesting.

75cl bottle at home vintage 2008. Lots of cherries and smoke on the nose. The taste is cherries sourness and smoke. This is not bad but I feel that cantillon beats it. Far from commercial but not my favorite. Would like to try again.
