Poured a clear pinky red with a medium pinky red head. Aroma of cherries, earth and wood, faint hint of caramel. Flavour is nice and smooth with creamy cherries. Well balanced.

.375 bottle. Red, with orange tones. Nose has fresh red cherries, but also quite a bit of malts and funk. Body is light. Cherries, but also funk. This is probably the most hay/funky (non-oude) kriek I’ve had in a while. Well carbonated, a bit thin maybe.

Sample @ ZBF 2013 Fruity, yoghurt, sour cherries, cherries aromas. Red hazy, pinkish head, fading and lacing. Fresh, yoghurt, a bit sour in the taste. Fizzy mouthfeel, a bit sweet aftertaste slowly turning into something more sour. Short sharp bitterness.

Beautiful looking beer with an aroma that alternates between sharp cherries and cow manure filled barns. Flavour is complex but a buttery note lets it down a bit. Very dry as expected and went strangely well with smoked salmon.

Red body, offwhite head. Aroma has nice sour cherry tartness, some vinegary bitterness. Flavour is quite harsh, but nice. Subtle malt and quite more straight lambic like than other fruit lambics. Bit leather.

Bottle cracked with some people on St Pattys day. Poured bright red with thin head and lacing. Notes are cherry, perfume, sweet stuff, and light oak. Light to medium bodied. Wasnt that sour or tart, and way too artifical perfumey to consider it a good kriek, I’ll stick to the regular Cantillon kriek and Lou Pep versions.

375 ml bottle. From Belgium. Courtesy of Brandman. Dark red colour with a small pinkish white head. Cherries, red berries, mild tartness and sourness in the aroma. Red berries, cherries, mild tartness and some spices. Some Glühwein touch. Drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

37,5cl bottle @ home. Nicely red coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a large but diminishing pink white head. Cherry fruity robust aroma with some distant oaky notes. Medium to full palate. FInish is rather light rounded with a short fruity noted and a longer slightly fruit acidic sweet balanced woody ending. Rather soft.
