A Mes rate:
Draught. I know it’s not an amazing beer but I cant helo but love the regular Girardin Kriek. This unblended version was just what I hoped for. Lovely dark cherry / red wine looks. Red wine character in the mouth, very fruity with slight spicy and cinamon. Excellent.

On draught at Hotel Centrum, Beersel. Dark ruby red with a medium-sized pink head. Definite cherry aroma, even quite sweet. Strong semi-sweet cherry flavours, dry woody finish. Quite fizzy, medium body. Good kriekenlambik, but cherry steals the show.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2008 The owner of De Rare Vos in Schepdaal had closed for the day, but was friendly enough to fill my litre swing top bottle with this magic stuff. Ruby red color. Cherry and almond aroma. Sweetish cherry flavor with notes of cherry pits, almond and wood. No sugary sweetness, just the sweetness of the cherry fruit, with just a dash of lemon added. As I said, magic stuff!
Cask @ De Rare Vos. Clear cherry red with reddish foam. Cherry, almonds and wood in the aroma. Cherry sweet flavor with some almonds and wood. Just a hint of sourness. A marvel of balance.
